Ridiculously Simple, Supremely Accurate
App records blood pressure, pulse and weight in seconds, and "presto", you have a permanent record that the it graphs, (if you want), and stores away for future reference. The paid version is easily worth it, as it calculates and records your "MAP".
The Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP) is derived from your Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP) and Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP).
MAP is often used as a surrogate indicator of blood flow and believed to be a better indicator of tissue perfusion than Simple Blood Pressure, as it accounts for the fact that two thirds of the cardiac cycle are spent in diastole.
Great App.
